I am so thankful to be in Nepal ... I have now been here for one month ... Namaste ...
"thank you ... for making this helping adventure possible. I'm here because of all of you. as there are so many people to thank, if I attempt to do so - thank everyone involved, I will certainly miss more than a few. I have attempted to contact as many as possible, directly, or in person ... so again, thank you to the many and all, who have helped, supported, are supporting, will support, for your encouraging words, messages, hugs, loves and so much more ... and whom have come with me in spirit, on this helping adventure in Nepal ... from the bottom of my heart, thank you! additionally, I would also like to especially thank, those who have opened their homes to me this past summer, as I prepared and was saving funds, serving clients, and gathering goods for the journey to the East. You so graciously allowed me to couch-surf in your homes & take showers in-between camping excursions, eat at your tables, and even drive your vehicles ... words simply can not express my appreciation and love for all of you! the Fenters - Carl and Ellen & The Church at Woodmoor - Mission Committee ... thank you for opening your arms, your generosity, and, for sharing your beautiful home, and good fixin's in the fridge! I hope the yard looked ok?! Andrew English, with whom I shared a house-sitting experience and camping cabin adventures, and who is currently minding my mischievous tail challenged Manx! the New Mexico Mex and home music fest send-off was delicious and memorable ... Anthony and Amy Surage - "The Two Rivers Resort" ... we caught trout together, with you as my patient fly fishing guide, we talked in the Spirit ... I ate the healthiest I have in years ... and, "my room downstairs" was the perfect bridge between my love for all things Colorado, and crossing on to an unfolding new chapter in my life ... my amazing nephew Eric and his beautiful wife Melissa - where do I start? let's just say ... you are amongst the top of my list of favorite loved ones and those I hold dear ... you are a gift to me, and that other overwhelming gift ... and supply of trekking gear was just over the top ... the wine from the home country, the perfect toast to a perfect summer send-off from Colorado ... Jean and Jerry ... my favorite Packer fans! "I was a stranger, and you took me into your home ..." you are truly one-of-a-kind type of good folks ... good food, good fun, new good friends that are cherished now and will be forever ... Ray Soucie ... jeep and 'puters! ... Bearman, you define what it means to be an overcomer! you are rockin' it! keep inspiring and keep on being the model for stepping up and making the choice to live a life that matters ... Ami and Jayneel ... much can be said about "real success" in people's lives as observed by the company they keep. I am so thankful for the enduring and enriching friendship that you and the many more in Lindsay and Wes' circle of friends bring to both their lives and to our world. nothing can be more of treasure in a parent's eyes than that. thank you for your support and for opening your home to me. ... Lindsay and Wes ... simply, you're the best! the best of the best, that a Dad could ever hope for! Your gentle push and coaching, your ongoing support and encouragement ... shots! and, the inspiration to me, that is the lives you lead ...
