‘My family’s daily survival has become very difficult now.’
—Shova Lama, Kathmandu citizen
I'm not generally a political animal (translate: I loathe the whole smelly mess), even in my own country ... mainly because it's pointless ... "two" sides, that are really one side (at the ruling class level), keep everyone at odds by fueling the fires of single issue angry dissensions via media (that is not news at all), while continuing to run things however they please ... (there I said it ... that is my "opinion" on all of that steaming pile of hooey) ...
but, there is a very real crisis happening now in Nepal ... that is completely politically motivated. and, India should be ashamed ... very ashamed. the Nepali's have endured devastating earthquakes, monsoon floods that have swept away homes, farms, villages and livelihoods ... and now, during the holiest of festival celebrations in Nepal, India's governing powers are playing hurtful blockade politics, which is depriving everyday Nepali's from desperately needed supplies, goods, and petrol/home cooking & heating fuel, and more ... in retaliation, for Nepal's having established a new constitution, that empowers Nepal with increased independence within a secular governance structure ... please pray for Nepal and its amazing people, as they deal with this new crisis, a man-made, and inhumanely motivated crisis ...
